Dear Azerbaijani citizens,
We are on the eve of the glorious 21 Azer day of the 1324 solar year. On this date, the Azerbaijani nation rose up against the oppression of the Pahlavi regime in Iran and, under the leadership of the intelligent son of Azerbaijan, Mir Jafar Pisheveri and his colleagues, established the national government of South Azerbaijan by achieving their own destiny. Our people became masters of their cultural, social, economic and political life in one year. We congratulate all our citizens on this glorious day!
Unfortunately, after the reactionaries of the central government had previously obtained the protection of foreign tyrannical states, in the month of Azer of the year 1325, under the pretext of free elections, they sent troops to Azerbaijan and drowned the national government of Azerbaijan in blood. The torch of freedom that burned with great aspirations went out again. Our oppressed people were subjected to black terrors, under narrow trees, in dark dungeons, and with torture. According to various sources, the number of martyrs in these inhuman and terrible persecutions was recorded at around 40 thousand people. We believe that history will not forget the tears and sighs of a generation.

Some of the effects left by the glorious 21 Azer Day of 1324 can be stated as follows: (This is how we can express the traces left by the day in the political, social life, and self-awareness of our people)
21 Azer is the living history of the national movement of the Azerbaijani nation!
21 Azer is an indictment of those who despise the national existence of the Azerbaijani Turks!
21 Azer will play the highest role in the revival of national consciousness, in ending national slavery, and in achieving national freedom!
Dear citizens,
There are those who are trying to reduce the strength of today’s magnificent national movement of South Azerbaijan: the opposition of the Islamic government of Iran, even pan-Iranians within the regime, and others
are playing a high role in holding today’s protests in order to protect the Persian-oriented Iranian regime. Therefore, today, the system is changing in Iran, and it is no longer necessary for us, the Azerbaijani Turks, to take the lead! Unfortunately, some citizens living in exile are striving to violate the principles of the Azerbaijani national movement and appropriate the movement. What can be said about these undemocratic
movements except harm, precisely because of historical tragedies?!
The Azerbaijan National Front believes that, taking into account the current events taking place in the country and the region, it will eventually lead to the collapse of the political structure of Iran. But, we must remind some citizens and organizations in exile who violate the principles of the South Azerbaijan national movement and cause difficulties for our national activists inside, without understanding the sensitive situation inside, that all steps taken and decisions made in South Azerbaijan today should be managed from within, by society, taking into account the real situation! We all believe with all our being that our people will finally create and protect their national state at the appropriate time and under the right conditions!
