On behalf of the Azerbaijani Turkic people, we would like to appeal to you and inform you that you should not allow the reactionary regime in Iran to use your name to strain relations between nations. In this way, the reactionary regime wants to discredit and crush the uprising. All peoples living in Iran have equal rights. No nation and no person has superiority over another, and no one has the right to insult and humiliate each other. The militant and democratic people, like the intellectuals and militant people of other nations (Turks, Arabs, Kurds, Baloch, Lors and others), are crushed in the mill of reaction and tortured in their prisons.
The Persian people have had great intellectuals, writers, poets and well-known militant and democratic people.
On this day, take them as an example for yourself and do not allow the forces of reaction to insult other nations in your name and pit the nations of the country against each other. Take advice from Hafiz, he says: Yeki ast Turki ve tazi der in maamle Hafiz, Hadith love is declared in every language.
Give Hafiz’s advice to your children. Tell them not to insult the Turks with inappropriate words in their stadiums. With these words, your children are degrading your culture. It is very dangerous and scary to strain relations between nations. You can play a big role in preventing this danger. Prevent the reaction from pouring water into the mill! Otherwise, history will not forgive you!
