Dear compatriots!
The dark winter has come to an end. Novruz Holiday and our New Year are already knocking on our doors. Novruz, the most dear and ancient holiday of our nation, is clarity, purity, a new mood and spirit. It is a bucket of light sprinkled on the steps of the caravan of the year and the seasons.
Since ancient times, people have associated the way the year will pass with the arrival of Novruz.
AMC shares the joy of our people on this dear day and on this occasion sincerely congratulates all our citizens and wishes that the new year will be good and successful for our nation.
For 30 years, the undemocratic behavior of the Islamic regime of Iran has continued in the name of Islam. Unfortunately, the economic, social, political and cultural situation of our citizens has declined to a lower level. The severe tortures, executions and other such inhuman actions shown to the people by the authorities are still continuing. That is why the authorities will never be able to gain the trust of the people. If the Iranian Islamic regime makes various efforts to pursue its own interests, this can only help them for a short time. But a people who have never lived under exploitation will always be uncompromising against a government that pursues its own interests and uses undemocratic methods in this regard.
The uprising of the Azerbaijani people in May 2006 once again proved to other nations and world powers living in Iran, as well as to the current regime, that Azerbaijanis truly possess strong democratic governance skills.
For many years, the AMC has been observing the plight of the people of southern Azerbaijan and exposing the undemocratic actions of the Iranian government against this people to the world community. Positive steps are already being taken on this path. In general,
the goal of realizing the dreams and aspirations of our compatriots today leads to the unification of all thoughts and feelings and mobilization for national liberation. This is our goal.
AMC is confident that one day all Azerbaijani people will congratulate our compatriots on the arrival of the spring holiday by lighting the bonfires of Dede Gorgud on the high mountains of our country.
Once again, we congratulate you on the Spring Holiday and the New Year, and may we all be successful in this glorious struggle!!
